Worst Day of the Year? We'll See....

Yesterday I was checking out some cool bike shirts (http://retroimageapparel.com/) and remembered that we still need to sign up for this bike event.

So J and I are now officially registered for the "Worst Day of the Year Ride". I picked up the flyer at REI last week and thought it sounded like a fun adventure...slogging in the cold and wet with 2999 other Portlanders. J agreed to ride with. I think we'll leave N at a friends house, he can ride 18 miles but it's a lot easier for him on a warm sunny day and we won't have to deal with the whine factor. He'll go on the "Hottest Day of the Year Ride".

It's on Feb 15...I'll let you know if it's really the Worst Day of the Year.
